Donato Maggini wasborn on
November 23th 1865 and with him a generation of builders begun.
Donato begun to build houses for the local farm
managers:
La Barbolana, La Speranza, Cille, Galbino e La Scheggia.
Two of the nine sons kept on the father job: Guido Maggini (my
grandfather) and Paolo Maggini, both worked for
the same farm managers. My grandfather had 2 sons: Benito and my
father Abramo, both builders.
My uncle Benito established its
own firm, whereas my father kept on
working with my grandfather until 1965. On 14th
April 1965 my father and my uncle established
the "Maggini Property Developer".
On July 1975 I joined the company as a
partner. Now I am the owner of this company.
